The mission of Capital Area Agency on Aging is to provide advocacy and specified services for seniors and persons with adult onset disabilities, and their caregivers, that will help them remain in their own homes and communities with independence, and dignity and protection from harm.

The Agency serves as advocate and provides leadership on behalf of the elderly. The Agency's primary purpose is to develop systems designed to assist older persons in leading independent, meaningful and dignified lives in their own homes and communities as long as possible.
